The Creative Reuse Center of RI turns extra materials and supplies from manufacturers and businesses into treasures for educators, artists, kids, and community members. We save reusable materials from the landfill and provide them at affordable prices so you can use them to learn, discover, and create.
At the CRC you may find:
Yarn, roving, string , iron-on transfers, buttons, zippers, thread, fabrics of all kinds, vintage flowers, school supplies, miscellaneous craft items, paper supplies, photo albums, frames, homemade paper, paint, cards, loose parts for creative building, candy molds, contact paper, sale tags, ribbons, corks, science kits, poster board, paper rolls, leather, cigar boxes, jewelry boxes, collage-making kits, and leather-art making kits.
We also have a fabric-button maker, shape and letter cutting machine, and sewing machines to use in store.
Businesses
If you are a business with excess products, materials, or scraps, please consider donating them to the CRC! Your organization and community will greatly benefit!
Educators
As you know, when children are given the freedom and support to play, they are able to engage in learning that develops their mind, skills, and belief in themselves. We want to provide you with the materials you need to help your students develop their ideas, build their inventions, and materialize their dreams. Also, cool stuff makes teaching fun.
